Difference between Love and Infatuation

Infatuation is instant desire. Love takes time to grow but stays for longer time. Infatuation comes in a single glance or a single act of your partner. It is simply attraction for single quality of other individual. It may be beauty or any quality but love is something very divine which is not made for any single act or glance. It grows with time and affection.

Love is selfless and infatuation is selfish. When you are in love, you just can’t think about anything else than your love. Love is devotion and selflessly doing things just to see a smile on your beloved face. Infatuation always thinks about itself. It is filling your wishes anyhow through your loved one.

Distances suppress the infatuation but strengthen the love. When you apart for any reason with your loved one, you feel much emotions and affection for your partner. You will wait for the time you meet your loved one and can wait for lifetime for a glance, if you are in true love. Infatuation vanishes with the distance, infatuation does not have patience.

Infatuation is full of jealousy. You can’t share your partner single smile or gesture with anybody. Love is name of trust and confidence. There is no space of jealous. You are free in love and make your beloved free.

Infatuation sees the good points only; it flies when there is need of compromise and sacrifices. You can’t accept the flaws of your partner in infatuation but love is deep sea where there is no difference between the positive and negative.  You accept your partner with all the flaws and love them more with weaknesses.
